New Strapless Dresses

Fuzzy...but Fun. This is the new Summer Strapless we designed. It's a keeper.

It will be finished early next week as well as our *fingers crossed* our suspender shorts.

The Unwilling Model

Again, this is a (sorta) secret post. I'm loving her holiday spirit and want to show off our new sparkly tops!

Her holiday spirit may not be the same when she sees I used this picture. Either way that top and my model (unwilling or not) look damn good!

High waist Frill skirts!

Wonder what we do when you are all partying?

The same damn thing.

But, when we are at work this is what happens! So here are a few more pieces for you to peak at from our holiday collection. The Frill skirt is cute paired with all sorts of tops. Here they are pictured with tank tops available at the Rum and Couture boutique. But! Of course if we are bringing you are delicious spread of skirts for the holidays we are also bringing you a great selection of tops. Yea She's Rocking A Collar

Admittedly she doesn't know yet that I'm posting this...but in my defense she's rocking that collar and I made that for her...so goodlooking+rumandcouture= gets posted.

Soooo keep rockin Liz. I am going to have to look into the whole collar for the boutique thing. From all the blogs I see and some runway it's gonna be big. How big for our small town? Well i guess we will just have to rock it out and find out.

New Print, New Model

New Size Small Polka Dot Skirt!

Our new Fall Frill Wrap Skirt now up on the window model. She's got no head but she's got a great body!

The Skirt is a satin material so it can really be dressed up. I would like to inform those of you who are wondering how to pre-order that on our website www.rumandcouture.com we have a contact page that you can send us a message requesting a pre-order form. We will get that to you right away so we can start putting aside skirts!

I will be updating you on my inspiration for our winter collection (which will be coming out late fall) in my travels.

Bright Coral Pants

Oh hello waistline! Yes these will be the shape of the new fall short. And I love this color for summer.

Did I say fall and shorts in the same sentence? Well yes...I guess I did. Just above it is paired with the Sheer Black Swing Top. And below is how we are turning it into a fall piece. Sweater is slightly tucked just so you can see that amazing pleats.

Also works with a not bulky sweater. Blue cheetah. O.K. I'm ashamed to say I'm not ashamed of cheetah. Well here it is. I did take the shoulder pads out.

And my lovely friend Liz! Lizard really. Long story...But here she is in coral jeans (so in!) and the Tropical Purple Swingtop.

Now to put this new shorts silhouette to work in some fall prints. I will be posting as soon as I have pictures and of course they will be available for pre-order.

Fist Full of Roses!

No need to stack when you have five fingers per hand.

These babies pack a punch.

We have awesome iridescent rose rings in and I am so excited to say that this is my must have fall ring. Of course until I find another.

June Fashion Show

Fashion Show Cortland NY

This was our very first fashion show that we put on. I'm very excited to say that it won't be the last but location will have to be smaller because setting up an icerink is very time consuming and burns my muscles. And the muscles of friends who love me. If I can get ahold of pictures from the show that show my line I will be posting them.

Frill La LA!

She did it again folks. Yep, Deb is brilliant. I get this today in a text. No need to panic. If I know her this is not her one and only.

Oh. It's even beautiful in the back!

I guess this is my stayed tuned moment. I will be bringing you more of this master piece. I am so pumped. Yes. I said pumped. I'm going to fist pump right after I type this. And it's gonna feel even better to fist pump and that skirt.

Welcome Back Hourglass.

Helloooooo Hourglass figure. I've missed you so much in my wardrobe.

Hello big bow on the butt...also a deeply missed piece.

I would like to say that anyone...and I mean anyone can rock this if done right.

My motto for these is going to be "embrace your waist."

Come on...it's even cute in non-wrap form. That is...sized to your exact waist. We are that good...we can do it!

I would to present to you all the waist skirts you can slip you little butt cheeks and tiny waist into. And even if you do not think you have a tiny waist...bring me your heels and a tight tank top and I will give you a high waisted skirt ...and magic... legs for miles and an hourglass figure. Your Welcome.

Swing Top Overload

It was a long time coming...but we got them in.

I would like to say that this top screams summer but can translate well into the fall. There is a lot of hemming on these bad boys.

This is my models first time doing any formal modeling shoot. I say she rocked it!

I also harassed her relentlessly through out. Makes for a lot of fun. I can't wait to do it again. I'm sure she can.

I am determined to make this my swing top design for this summer...but also come up with a shorter version for pairing with a great high waisted short (still to come) and a longer version for a sexy/moomoo. It really exists. And because of it...so does the waist belt.

Photo Shoot Time!

Thanks to my wonderful model Desarea I now have my first photo shoot complete. And of course the wonderful help of my intern Kayla. Work is where the home is!

Well here is our glamourous work "studio" a.k.a my Aunt's family room. We have been busting out our three new designs consisting of a wrap skirt, a fitted waist skirt, and a swing top. All of these were well thought out due to our love of the 70's and its notorious comeback these coming seasons. Move over 80's.
